Blue Planet Eyewear features 100% recycled or reclaimed material for sunglass and reading glass frames, and first quality optical lenses. Fashionable, sporty, fun and, best of all, kinder to our planet. We use lead free paints, dyes and colorings, and nickel free metal so that disposal isn’t toxic to the Earth (and humans & animals) via land fills. During the manufacturing process these safety considerations are also a top priority to us here at Blue Planet. To top off our earth friendly sunglasses and reading glasses, we use at least 65% post consumer materials in our boxes, inner packaging, outer packaging and hang tags. We strive to be leaders in the march to help reverse global climate change, and to take care of the delicate balance of our planet.
